RRPH is a Regional Development Company whose capital is 66% owned by the State and 34% by the Region of Rabat Salé Kénitra. Its Board of Directors is chaired by Mr. Mohammed YACOUBI, Wali of the Region of Rabat Salé Kénitra.
Created in 2023, the RRPH’s mission is to:
- Implement the strategy for safeguarding and enhancing the cultural heritage of the Rabat Salé Kenitra Region;
- Inventory, document and digitize heritage;
- Make cultural heritage a lever for value and wealth creation;
- Develop expertise in the safeguarding and enhancement of heritage;
- Lead the implementation of programs and actions for the safeguarding and enhancement of cultural heritage;
- Operate the sites and goods made available to the company on behalf of the partners.
For the archaeological site of Chellah, the main objective of the RRPH is to modernize the visit to this archaeological site. This initiative includes not only the improvement of reception areas but also the enrichment of the services offered to visitors, while preserving the heritage attributes of this World Heritage site.
