As part of the anniversary of the inscription of the city of Rabat on the UNESCO World Heritage List, the Foundation for Islamic Culture, in collaboration with the Embassy of Spain in Morocco, is pleased to invite you to a special conference dedicated to the Almohad architecture of Rabat.
The conference, titled “The Almohad Architecture of Rabat: A Shared World Heritage Through New Knowledge and Dissemination Tools”, will be presented by Dr. Antonio Almagro, academician and renowned expert in heritage restoration and Islamic architecture.
The event will take place on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, at 6:00 PM, at the Villa des Arts of Rabat, located at 10 Rue Beni Mellal, Hassan.
The program will include a presentation of exclusive 3D images and virtual reconstructions of Rabat’s Almohad walls and other monuments from this era.
